General Office Clerk I-Camp Cullen

Position Summary:
Provide administrative services to Camp Cullen Registrar/Director of Relational Marketing\. Assist in achieving departmental goals through office support\. Embody the five core values of the YMCA of Greater Houston\.
Some weekends are required\.
Essential Functions:
Execute camp registration and administrative services for department and handle office details of a confidential nature\.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through issues in a timely manner\.
Prepare and produce reports according to established deadlines\.
Coordinate arrangements for events and programs and handle the details of such functions, including material preparation, and registration activities\.
Answer phone calls and provide information and registration assistance for Summer and Family Camps and refer all other calls to appropriate Director or staff member\.
Work in our Daxko database system to assist with camp registrations\.
Prepare, proof read and edit correspondence and respond to routine inquiries\.
Maintain efficient organized and updated file system\.
Provides prompt, professional, and courteous customer service\.
Manage multiple calendars\.
Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and mail\.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and order supplies when needed\.
Other duties may be assigned\.

Job Requirements:
Associate's degree \(A\. A\.\) or equivalent from two\-year college or technical school\.
Three or more years of administrative assistant experience\.
Advanced level Microsoft Office \(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher\) and Outlook\.
Knowledgeable about office processes and procedures\.
Ability to work with integrity, discretion and a professional approach\.
Ability to work independently and be self motivating\.
Knowledge and understanding of audio visual and computer equipment\.
Strong time management and attention to detail\.
Excellent written and verbal communication\.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred\.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
